Hi,

I have a 2000 Civic Si with a MIL code of 82. I have checked in my OEM Honda maintenance manual and MIL 82 is not listed, nor do I see it on any other list.
Anyone know what that code is?
I may need to buy a scanner, as the vehicle is not registered, so I can't go to Advance Auto and see what the OBDII code is.

Using a scan tool, it has the codes 300, 301 and 302. So I'm assuming MIL 82 is equivalent to OBDII codes 300, 301, 302, 303 and 304. Where 301 is cylinder 1, 302 is cylinder 2, etc. The Honda Service manual indicates this is a misfire and could be low fuel, EGR, etc.

I discounted the battery yesterday, so I would have to wait and see if it does this again. I did save the scan codes though and did recount the blinking code and it is 82. It seems like a strange blinking light code given that this is not in the OEM Honda Service Manual.
