used to work fine; then one day no pump activation and wipers did not activate, wipers work just fine in intermittent, slow, and fast; and when wipers are turned on, water still don't squirt. I'm guessing a switch in the steering column?

 

Remove the stalk and clean the contact point first. Quick and free. Have someone pull on it to activate the pump while you check at the pump, check pump wiring for corrosion. If wires checked out, go to junk yard, buy replacement stalk for $15.. swap it out. Report back.
