'97 Civic windshield washer not spraying
Why is my windshield dirty? Because when I pull the wiper stalk on the steering column, the washer pump doesn't go on. Additionally, the wipers won't work then, either. However, the wipers DO work as normal otherwise.
All the fuses are fine, and I figure that if the pump went bad, the wipers would still be activated when I pulled that stalk, but they don't. My next step is to check the voltage at the pump, but thought I'd ask while getting around to that. I'm not crazy about having to open up the steering column wiring, but that might be next, too.
Also, someone mentioned that '97s may not be set up for the wipers to go on automatically when you pull the stalk for the washer. Is that the case? This is my first EK, so I don't know.
Any thoughts on where else I should look?

Re: My windshield is dirty
Remove connectors and jump wires from battery to pump. If pump runs, check for voltage from connectors while the washer lever is lifted up. Voltage ok, clean connectors and pump terminals, they usually corrode and loose contact. No voltage, check fuse, wiring connectors, relays. Disregard if not applicable.
