2002 Honda Accord won't start after being on
Okay so here's the deal, a few weeks ago I accidently flooded my 2002 Honda accord (2.3 LX) on my way to work after hurricane Irma decided to leave a nice flood zone. Well I gutted the interior and let the car dry out for a week. I reassembled it and replaced my starter solenoid (after burning it out trying to start it so much). Well the car now starts up immediately when it's cold. But if I start the car for even a few seconds and turn it off and try to restart it, it just cranks and won't turn over. If i try spraying starter fluid in it it will only run on the starter fluid and die out.
It throws a code p1607 manufacturer control (ECU issue) when this happens. I cleaned the fuel injectors too. Now if I let it sit for an hour or so it starts up immediately but triggers a CEL and throws a code p0135 (O2 sensor), but no P1607. Also the SRS light comes on even after I do the hard reset with the paper clip trick.
So my question is, do you think replacing the O2 sensor will fix the issue of it not wanting to start after being started? Or does the ECU need to be replaced (I took the ECU out and I don't see any physical signs on the.board of it being shorted anywhere)? Or can the SRS light cause it not to start a second time? Or is there something I'm overlooking? I know being flooded and all there's a lot of things it can be. The water was inside the cabin about 6 inches.
I just don't want to throw a lot of time or money into it. I bought a 2002 EX Civic after having such bad luck with this accord between accidents (all not my fault, thank god for dash cameras; car also has a rebuilt title now) and blowing the head gasket (I replaced that about a month ago). I just would like to get it running to sell to one of my many friends in bad financial positions for 200 bucks or so. If any of you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate your input! Thank you.
PS- The PCV valve is stuck open. I don't know if that could cause this issue.
