my 1999 HONDA ACCORD WONT START
Hello everyone, I have an accord lx that is a 1999. I went to the store on lunch break, turned the car off and went into the store. When I got back into the car it wouldnt start. The car has plenty of power from the battery. I did try boosting it and that was a waste of time. The starter clicked about 12 times. Now there is nothing. I turn the key to start it and nothing is happening at all. I did have someone try tapping the starter while I was trying to start it and that didnt work either. I also tried starting the car in all gears that wasnt happening either. It is a 4-speed automatic with a 2.3l engine. It has 158,000 miles on it. I bought it 2 weeks ago. Very great shape and well taken care of. I am thinking could possibly be starter. Was wondering if anyone could help me out with this problem. I plan on testing to see if there is power going to the starter with a test light or multimeter. This is the first honda I have ever owned. My parents always owned hondas and they love them. So I figured I would try them out. I would greatly appreicate any advice. Thanks everyone and glad to be part of honda-forum and also a honda owner even though it doesnt start now.

Re: my 1999 HONDA ACCORD WONT START
A buddy of mine works as a heavy truck mechanic and he tried a tool that connects to the leads going to the starter that bypasses the ignition and everything else and the car still didnt start and the starter didnt even click. So I am thinking it is the starter. Any other suggestions would definitely help. Thanks again.
