Hello, I have 1998 Honda Accord EX 2.3 VTEC, for the last couple of months I didn't have any dash lights, so I changed the MultiPlex Control Unit located on the driver side of my vehicle. Yesterday I finally got around to changing it even though I used to not having any and knew what speed I was going. After changing the MultiPlex Control Unit, I was getting ready to go to work last night because I am a Special Police Officer at night and realize that not I have no dash lights, no headlights, and taillights. Headlights only come on when my alarm is activated or deactivated, but not when the car is in the on position. I have brake lights and reverse lights, and dash indicator gear lights. What is going on? I work at night so I need to be able to drive with lights. Really not trying to get to stop by the police. Please Help Me! Do you think that the MultiPlex Control Unit that I replaced is bad? But if it bad why would nothing work now. I have checked my fuses, relays, wire connections, so I am stumped. Can afford to lose no money.

 

Does the car have the "auto off" headlights? I'll assume that you do since replacing the multiplex has now caused the headlights and taillights to stop working. Was the replacement multiplex the same as the original - meaning it also had the "auto-off" feature.
