Wiring issue?? 91 STD Hatch
So, my friends and I recently swapped in a rebuilt D15B1 into my 91 Civic STD hatch, as I found a rebuilt motor for cheaper than doing rings. So far the motor works wonderfully but now my car keeps blowing the #1 fuse, meaning I have no fuel gauge or turn signals. Also, before the fuse blows, my coolant gauge doesn't work, but when you put the car in reverse, the needle spikes all the way to hot. I wasn't there when the swap was finished up, any ideas on what could cause this?
(also I apologize if there's been a thread on this, I did many many searches and didn't find anything)

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I found the culprit. One of my goofy a** friends plugged the yellow and green wire from the back up switch into the coolant temp sensor and vice versa, which is an honest mistake as they have the same socket and wire color.
Will have to take it on a drive tomorrow to see if it pops the number one fuse again or if the temp gauge works.
