can i incorporate honda lane watch into my integra?
I have a degree in electrical engineering and spend most of my time working with programming embedded systems, so if I were to do something like this, I'd start by looking for someone who has made a backup camera for either an in dash android tablet or raspberry pi computer since the bulk of the work would already be done, then once you got that working, add cameras under the mirrors and set them up to display when the blinkers are on. It would essentially be the same thing as a backup camera turning on when the car is in reverse, except you'd have 2 or 3 cameras instead of just one, and 2 or 3 triggers. (depending on whether you kept the backup camera or just have the mirror cameras) It sounds simpler than it actually is, you won't be able to just plug in the cameras and mess with a few settings, if you've never programmed or you haven't programmed very much, this will likely be extremely difficult. It wouldn't even be easy for me and I do this for a living.
Retrofitting the actual Honda system into an Integra would be a massive pain in the *** since I'd bet that it's fairly heavily integrated with a large number of other computers in the car that aren't present in an Integra.
