Proper way to mount ABS computer unit in an EM1?
This is regarding the ABS unit and whatever else it's attached to, which sits under the front passenger kick panel. I had to remove it to make enough room to remove the blower motor to clean it, because it was making noise due to leaves and pine needle debris in it.
There was only one bolt holding it into place from the front, though I don't know if the back part of it is supposed to hook into something that sets it into the right place. Right now, the kicker panel won't go back over it properly, because the ABS unit underneath, even though it's firmly bolted down, is not seated exactly the same. And I've tried re-seating it differently, but I didn't feel a guide or anything to indicate what the correct positioning is - other than trying to line it up with a hole on the kicker panel. The kicker panel still isn't as flush against the door side of the car as it was before (even though the ABS unit is bolted down firmly), so I wonder if there's a particular way the ABS unit notches into something there.
Anyone know?

Thanks, but it's the bracket itself that I haven't got positioned correctly, and which was preventing the kick panel from seating flush against the side wall.
I have the ABS unit bracket flush now, though not lined up perfectly. There is just one bolt holding it in, which the bracket can pivot around until it is tightened down. The other side of the bracket has a rubber foot to press against the floor to give it support on that side. It looks like it's just a matter of trial and error to get the bracket lined up with the kick panel fastener hole. I don't stick a fastener in that hole, so it's not a big deal to me.

Tight space. U just need to wiggle it til it fit in where it supposed to. Clear any harness that may be in the way, push, pull, etc.. honda got it in there from factory, im sure you can find away.
