Ignition Coil snapped wire to Distributor
Yesterday I decided to go ahead and replace all my spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor. Everything went smooth. Had a little issue with the old rotor stuck to the shaft, so I put a little chain lube and it came right off. Reassembled everything, and this is where the problems began. My car wouldn't start. I went over my work twice and went to bed. Woke up this morning and checked the resistance in all my work and everything was solid. I started taking the ignition switch off to test that and the screws holding down the wires into receptacle A and B were stripped as hell so while I was working on that one of the wires to the ignition coil snapped. The whole reason I was looking into the ignition coil was because it was definitely caked with residue and I don't think anyone had looked inside that cap for a long while. Anyway, I have to be 250 miles away by the end of the day for my job and want to get this fixed, any recommendation for fixing the wiring? I've looked into getting a new ignition switch just to be safe.
If you’re looking down on the distributor cap. I’ve got 3 towards front 4 below 1 on top towards windshield and 2 below. I don’t have the equipment to solder.
