Default Y1 vs YS1?

Had troubles with my YS1 trans so I picked up a Y1. I'm thinking the only difference is clutch disc and throwout bearing, is that right? Its getting mounted on a B18a1 thanks! Hoping I can re use my axles, intermediate shaft etc

I thought the only major difference was that the Y1 had a factory LSD. Depending on what car the YS1 came out of, there are different gearing possibilities. The Y1 only had shorter gearing from a B16A.

Clutch disc should be interchangeable, but maybe someone with more knowledge can confirm. Only the older 89-91 trannys, like the A1 and S1 I believe had smaller spline input shafts.

some y1 trans came with out lsd, like mine , y1 has a 4.26 final vs the ys1 4.4, y1 is a small spline compatible with the 90-91 integra trans only and 92 and up has different spline
