Default Aux adapter for factory radio pre 98 accords

Are there any adapters that can hook up an aux for a factory radio, I know there are some for later models but I'm not sure for the older ones, I have a cassette player so there's that option of the cassette aux adapter but it's not that clean, I was thinking of maybe splicing into a radio wire but I'm not sure how it works. Maybe even an adapter in between the the radio and head unit that sends signal at certain frequencies but I don't think anyone makes that. I'm trying to keep the factory radio because I like it a lot. Any one have any ideas let me know

I think cassette is likely the easiest. I've soldered some wires to the cd to run a signal from aux when playing in cd but it's a ton of work. If I were to do it again, I'd just go buy non-mechanical head unit for 20 bucks.
