Default clutch behaviour

I have a eg with b series transmission. about 7 years ago I replaced the clutch master cylinder because it leaked inside the car up near the clutch pedal. The clutch has worked well since then.

But now, every now and again the cutch drops to the floor and has no pressure. I cant put the car in gear or change gears when this happens. Then all of a sudden I regain pressure and everything works as normal. Im not leaking fluid anywhere or losing fluid. The clutch itself grabs strong and works fine.

Any ideas? Time for another clutch mc? Or could this be something else?

several years later. Although ive had a few episodes over the years where the pedal would lose half pressure sometimes, or become completely balled up with no freeplay other times. A few pedal pumps would eliminate that. Ive bled it a few times, same thing always returns. But this new symptom, where the pedal drops to the floor completely, is new. And like I said the reservoir is holding fluid and there are no leaks to be found.

Its an H2B setup with the slave cylinder spacer. Dont know if that would affect anything.

Hmm..Well you have 2 things to check..

Id point to a slave if the MC has been replaced..Those should be a cheap easy fix and little to no bleeding.

If it were me, thats where Id start
