Default Domani trunk conversion inner tail light issue

hey y'all i recently got a domani trunk with inner n outer lights. I've installed the trunk but I'm having an issue with the inner tail lights its looks like my existing harness won't connect to the socket to the inner tail lights. Any ideas on what I should do I seen a thread regarding the wiring including photos but the thread actually doesn't show the pictures. Any suggestion will really help I would hate to have to sell the trunk.

Thanks

Bottom line: match up the wire colors. Honda has used the same wire color code on the lights for all models.

You will have a much cleaner install if you can get the harness from a Domani. Then you will have the plugs that fit the "inner" lights on the trunk lid and enough wire to run back to splice into your harness on the stationary part of the car.

Otherwise you will need to bypass the plugs and splice directly to the wires in between the harness socket (that you don't have a plug for) and the bulbs. Extend these new wires back to the existing harness.
