Windshield washer reservoir questions
So i need a new washer fluid reservoir, found out mine is cracked when i went to fill it up and it just pissed washer fluid onto my feet. I'm having a tough time finding the part locally or on most of the parts sites I typically use, so i am wondering if they are interchangeable between different years, models or body styles. It would make life easier if i could just snag a junk yard one or something like that. Unfortunately even though i dont use it at all, i need it for state inspection, otherwise i would just rip everything out and be done with it.
Thanks for any help guys

Damn, that really sucks. I just stripped the one out of my '90 hatch like two weeks ago, I would've happily sent it your way if you paid for shipping.
I'm curious, though - for your state inspection, couldn't you just leave it empty and say you used it all up? Would they really fill it and check it for cracks?
I live in Michigan and we don't have an inspection here, so I guess I'm not too familiar with the process.

Pennsylvania is pretty strict, I work at a dealership and even with a tech that I'm friends with doing the inspection who has been lenient with me in the past, having a non functioning system is a no go. If you leave it empty they put a little in just to test it.
I have kept my eye on the local junk yards inventory and the only EFs i have come across have been a pretty much gutted hatch (and i snagged anything left i needed) and a couple CRXs that were so far gone i didnt even recognize them. So if there is something from maybe another honda that would work, that may be ideal for me.

1. you can always look up these questions regarding interchangeability by finding out the part number and just googling it. Then honda parts storefronts typically show you what other cars that part fits.

2. the reservoir is available on ebay. why are you still asking what other cars fit? too cheap for a $30 replacement?

It's not cracked, there is actually a hole in the bottom of it, a good 1" or so piece has snapped off or something.
Tyson, thanks for those links, but I wasn't even sure if CRX/hatch/sedan ones were interchangeable or not.
