Icon4 1988 honda civic hatchback fuel issue...wont stay running

Hello I'm Logan, I recently bought a 88 civic hatch with a d15b2 with a 63mm turbo at 8 psi. It has a fuel cell with a walboro 255 fuel pump. Into a jdmsportnation blue fmu, with stock injectors. If I start it without pushing the gas, it dies. If I push the gas slightly and let off, it idles fine. If I give it more than half throttle, it starts cutting out and dies. When it starts there is a bit of black smoke, but it goes away. Any info is helpful. I couldn't find info online so I was seeing if anyone on here had had the same issue.

I would say the FMU is one of your problems, among many.....
