I have pulled the head off of my 97 base model. It has a h22a4 block in it. I was losing coolant and having issues getting it started. Found low pressure on leak down on cylinder one. Looking in the space around the cylinder (in the water jacket) I see a hole. it is close to where the water pump is. I just cant find any pics of the space where I see the hole.

Is it supposed to be there?

 

Best thing you could do, is take a picture of what you see on your engine, and post it here.
