99 crv just rebuilt, rom surges on start and then bounces up and down.
Hi there new to the forum!
i just rebuilt a 99 crv it had a burnt valve. Anyway I adjusted the valves and I have 150 psi compression, everything APPEARS to be okay. However when I start the car the RPMS fly up to like 5-6k and then it drops down and jumps between 1200-2200 rpm continuously. I also replaced the radiator, and the water pump while I wasn't in there, what am I missing? To be clear it's not idling rough, it's just continually surging.
