After an engine swap due to a blown head gasket, I'm attempting to figure out where two hoses go.
Hose from the thermostat housing Hose from the firewall. Notice fitting on the throttle body is not connected. Hose from the firewall Throttle Body fitting disconnected. There is also a black box with a fitting on top of the throttle body that is disconnected.
For any readers, this is the R18 engine. All trim levels except the Si.
The Si is a totally different setup and won't be of any help to the OP.
Unfortunately, the only 2006+ civic at my local pick a part has already been tore into so I don't have anything to look at for reference. Sorry.
I have two of these engines but the hoses he's asking about is under the intake assembly, which isn't easy to get out. I'd rather have a better idea of what hoses he's asking about so I can simply get a good look at the hoses in my cars and give a reply without much effort. I don't really think it's too much to ask, but my guess is he finally found out what he was asking.

Hopefully.
I understand completely. I was just adding information for anyone else who comes along. Especially if they have diagrams, it helps to know what ones to be looking at. Unfortunately, the only FSM I could find online isn't organized as nicely as the old 5th and 6th gen manuals so trying to locate anything is challenging.
I also made a mistake, there is a GX trim level for the natural gas version or is it the hybrid? And I suspect it has a different motor altogether from both the R18 and the K20Z3 of the Si.
