Hey all, I recently bought a 92 civic hatch. It recently started to have a problem where I would turn the headlights on, but the dash lights would only come on after driving a while if I was lucky. I checked my fuses including the one inside and the 40A fuse under the hood. I tried bridging the connection in the dimmer switch plug and that didn't work either. Wondering if there's anything else to look at before I give up and pay someone to fix it. Thanks!

 

Unplugging and replugging the
​​​​​​ the dash panel might solve this problem. May be caused by a bad connection ..Good luck.

 

Do the lights on the outside of the car work? If not, it could be the light switch. Check if power is reaching the fuse under the dash. Both ends of the fuse should be live with the light switch on the first or second click.
