2000 honda civic ecu problems

Default 2000 honda civic ecu problems

i have a 2000 civic d16y7 auto. the old d16y7 blew up and it was replaced with a 98 d16y7 just the engine. the 98 ecu was used as well but the 98 ecu is causing problems it starts and drives the car BUT throws a few codes i recently picked up the correct ecu and when i go to change it out the car doesnt start. it turns on and cranks but the fuel pump doesnt prime. is there something im missing no wiring was messed with the ecu im using right now is..

37820-p2E-L82
im replacing with
37820-p2E-A92

The ECU you bought is for 96-98 you'll need to either get an OBD2B-A ECU adapter or get the correct ECU for a 99-00

the a92 is for 99-00 civic
