Default Choosing motor for turbo.

im looking at 3 different motors at the moment. I'd like to know which one you guys would pick to build for a turbo setup. I would be going with forged pistons, rods etc in whichever motor I get.

b18b1 - 50
just the block, pistons, rods and crank.

2006 gsxr 600 motor - 350
completw motor without intake or exhaust manifolds. And seller says it has a tick.

D16a6 disassembled - 350
block and head, dizzy, d16a6 intake, pm6 Ecu, injector resistor box, dizzy plug for mpfi. The guy was going to switch from dpfi to mpfi.

There's also a motor for 150 out of a 03 Mazda protege. It's the full motor without manifolds but the guy hasn't gotten back to me on what size motor it is

You need to make these decisions for yourself and look at the pros and cons of each, for your particular purpose of the car, whichever chassis that may be. . Please check (via google) or wikipedia for the specifics of each type of engine, that you're describing. This is Honda-Tech, not Mazdaspeed Tech..

Once you've chosen for yourself what you want to do, and have some relevant questions regarding how to do it after you've done some legwork, you can ask with a specific inquiry thread.

Thanks.
