98 integra won't start
Hi,
The problem:
I've got a manual 1998 integra GS that stalled on me while leaving a parking lot, now it won't start. The car engine cranks but won't start. When I press on the gas while cranking, the engine shakes more but still won't start, not even a little.
What I've done:
- Replaced the distributor assembly(not just the cap)
- Removed the air cleaner(temporarily)
- Plugged in a code reader that "failed to establish connection" every time
- Soldered cracked joints on the main relay
- Checked continuity on both ends of the fuel pump connector(Fuel pump side has continuity, relay side doesn't, even when key is turned)
- Checked fuses
- Battery voltage is 12.3v
Any help or suggestions on what to try would be much appreciated, thanks

When I get home I'm going to pull one of the spark plugs and test if there is spark now, tow truck driver said there wasn't before. The timing belt is another thing I checked, forgot to put it in the post
Update: Tested the fuel pump with a battery, and it works. When I plugged it back in and turned the key it wouldn't work. I also tested for spark and still wasn't getting any. This now brought my attention to the ECU. Checked the fuse for it and sure enough it was blown, I had only checked the fuses under the dash. So I changed the fuse, the car started up but after a few seconds it died again. Checked the same fuse and it was blown again.
Update: Found and solved the problem, wires from front O2 sensor were getting caught in the axle. The wires kept shorting out whenever the car would move. When the wires shorted out it blew the fuse for the ECU which caused no spark and the fuel pump not working. Zap strapped the wires out of the way and the car worked just fine
