Oddly - after 101K miles with only an AC compressor relay failure and power steering hose failure but now very suddenly - the windshield is cracked on the inside. Really odd - as there is no damage to the windshield. Seems to start right at the rearview mirror... Bought used - no idea if the windshield has ever been replaced.

I am not sure I have ever seen a windshield crack on the inside before. Before I have it replaced, anything I need to keep in mind to prevent another crack?? Any idea how it could have even happened?

 

That's really odd that the crack from the inside, but as odd as it is, it is pretty common. They refer it as stress crack. I am not an expert and know nothing, but u can just call an auto glass company.
