Default B16 Weird Accelerated Startup, FITV and IACV

Hi, my B16A3 has some issues on cold startups and idling. The car starts up and accelerates up to about 2500rpm on every cold start, and drops to the standard 1200-800rpm idle procedure after a second or less. On a hot startup, the car also does that, but only revs to about 1600-2000rpm depending on its mood. In an attempt to solve the problem, I've cleaned and inspected the IACV and the problem persisted. Also, I've done a test with it blocked with a piece of cardboard and the car starts fine when cold. The FITV was also inspected, and it wasn't working properly (the valve was stuck open), but apparently it has been fixed (disassembled, cleaned the mechanism, and tightened the plastic screw which wouldn't move from the open position). Also, the little hose nipple that feeds coolant to the FITV was pretty damaged and broke when it was removed. As I couldn't fix that right away, the coolant line was looped and it was reassembled. Then, the car started to bounce at idle sporadically, especially when cold. For the time being, the FITV is blocked, as I've read some of you were running an FITV delete plate/gasket. The bouncing idle issue is gone at all scenarios but the car insists on starting up accelerating. It may seem like nitpicking, but I'm worried about the oil pressure not having time to build up properly and damaging the engine at startup, especially on an old engine/oil pump. The oil light turns off normally, half a second after, but as soon as the car starts, the engine is already revving when its building the minimum required pressure. I don't know what else to do or what to diagnose. What could be the problem? Does the FITV needs to work properly for this issue to go away, or it shouldn't happen even with the delete?

It is designed to do that in winter temperatures so that it does not stall. If the ECT sensor is giving a wrong (too cold) reading to the ECU it will idle fast even when hot. Ohm test the ECT.

Thanks, I'll check the ECT sensor. The fast idle issue is not present anymore with the FITV blocked until I can fix it. Just the fast startup issue still remains.
