Those axles can go up for sale as well. They will bind in the knuckle EVEN if you remove the dust cover from the inside of the bearing. Stock axles will work fine.

To get this working in your car, you will need to convert your DX wiring harness to MPFI. since you have the P28 ECU you will also need to convert your ECU harness (or BUY a conversion harness) from OBD0 spec to OBD1 spec. If you don't want to convert to OBD1 spec you can pick up a 88-91 Si ECU and add a vtec controller or an RPM activated swith to operated vtec.

Click on the conversion link in my signature, and never EVER call VTEC "Vtech" again (unless you like getting flamed, n00b)

I don't think you know what your getting into. You are going to need to know the wiring for both motors. The reason being that you dx motor is carborated and the si motor has multi-point fuel injection. If you are going to go threw that much of a head ache, SAVE UP FOR A B-SERIES MOTOR!!!

Um...last time I checked a 90 Civic DX wasn't carburated, it had Dual Point Fuel Injection(aka DPFI), just like my 91 Civic STD

DX has dual point FUEL INJECTON, Si has Multi Point fuel injection.

No USDM Civic after 87 had carbs.

i think u the one that dont really know the complex of that DPFI to MPFI......the wiring its VERY simple once u do it... its only adding 4 cables on ecu, moving 2 of them of place, and adding a injector resistor... it snot big deal.. something that might take 1 hr to do...
and even if he goes B series, he still has to do the conversion....

as for the guy he only needs engine, injector resistor, OBDI ecu fi u going to convert to OBDI.... u can use ur stock shift linkage, Si tranny, and stock motor mounts.....

Of course for you and I it might be easy, however he didn't even know that the motor he bought is non v-tec. And if we you guys always get technical with everything you forgot that you need to re wire the dizzy and flip the crank sensor wires

A D16Z6 is a vtec motor... what are you talking about?

Vtec is lowercase vtec... not VTECH, VTEC, nor v-tec.
