anyone ever run 60 sidewall tires on stock 4th gen si-v rims ?
im trying to get this thing on the road and can get all the rubber for 150 but they're 195/60/r15, however when i look around i cant find any info on 4th gens running anything smaller than 200 in width. im more concerned about the sidewall height tho. i know the 98 preludes run 195/60/r15. but can mine ? has anyone done similar ?

It would roll, but it would be a pretty narrow tire for the car, I would suggest spending a little bit more to get the correct tire size.
awesome! all i wanted to know really, i have other rims with toyo proxes that are the correct width, ill be replacing those soon enough. but the stocks are going to be whats getting me through safety as im strapped for cash at the moment. i dont want to spend an incredible amount on rubber just to be able to safety my car. thanks tho ! much appreciated
also, 205/55/15 is hard to find here. the best i can find is 205/50 and the speed rating is crazy so theyre like 160 a piece and i dont wanna drop that on the stock rims lol i like em and all but 90's honda rims arent the lightest
I have run 195/60/15 on winter tires on the blades but the tire is narrower than the rim... I have no issues rubbing and it drives fine but it doesn't sit on the stock rims perfectly.
alright thanks for the info, im getting them to pass my safety and probably use them for winter so that helps ! i dont drive to crazy in the winter anyways so they should hold up
