Opinions On A B20 Basemap In Constant Open Loop
1995 Civic EX coupe with JDM B20b block, Integra LS head, P75 Intake, GSR Throttle body. Currently has P75 OBD1 ECU. '95 Civic wiring harness. Previous owner did all swaps. I purchased it five months ago. Stock automatic transmission has been/is converted to an Integra LS manual 5-speed.
Engine has a lean condition that after much testing, some parts swapping and live data scanning/logging help seems to point to the current P75 as the source of the issue. I just purchased a tuned for B20 socketed ECU with a basemap chip and asked the tuner to disable the o2 sensor/ run in open loop. A few questions:
1) Does the o2 sensor remained plugged into the harness
2) Pros or cons running in open loop
3) Proabablity of it needing a dyno tune
