i had to replace all of them in my 2000 Accord. They would make a noise, meaning they were getting power, and sometimes move slightly, but wouldn't fully lock or unlock reliably. The ones for the back doors are fairly easy to replace yourself. There are YouTube videos on how to do it. You can get the parts on-line or at a place like AutoZone. The passenger front door was a bear, much different configuration and much more difficult to access, and i ended up taking the car to a shop to finish it. I didn't do the driver side one either.
