My 1999 Honda Accord LX's power locks are not working. When i try to unlock or lock there is no sound whatsoever. what should i check first? What should be the second thing i check?

There are a few fuses to check.
#9(7.5A) drivers under dash fuse box
#12(20A) passenger under dash fuse box
#13(7.5A) passenger under dash fuse box

Re: power locks not working

i had to replace all of them in my 2000 Accord. They would make a noise, meaning they were getting power, and sometimes move slightly, but wouldn't fully lock or unlock reliably. The ones for the back doors are fairly easy to replace yourself. There are YouTube videos on how to do it. You can get the parts on-line or at a place like AutoZone. The passenger front door was a bear, much different configuration and much more difficult to access, and i ended up taking the car to a shop to finish it. I didn't do the driver side one either.
