1992 gsr cyl #1 sensor code replaced distributor with Cardone new. The intermittent tapping {mainly when cold} got 10 times worse at all temps {sounded like a thrashing machine} but no code for cyl1 also sounded like a bearing noise at distributor. {rattling like a bearing bouncing around in my valve cover} put old distributor back on back to normal "occasional" tap when cold and intermittent when decelerating after a throttle rev. bad dizzy or is my timming poss. skipped a tooth and new dizzy was forcing no 1 cyl to fire correctly ...Possible to be a limp type mode with old dizzy throwing cyl 1 code???? Help!!
