Default Sunoco 94 Octane Gas

I just filled my tank with this gas and ever since I did, I've been smelling this sweet odor inside of my car. The odor almost smells like that bug spray Raid. Is this common? I'm associating the odor to this gas because I only started smelling it after I filled up at Sunoco - Plus, this is the first time I used this gas as well. Any comments?

Any comments?

Yeah, I actually moved out to CT from California a couple months ago and I was shocked to see an octane rating of 94. Back in Cali, they recently lowered the highest octane from 92 to 91. For me, I'm used to paying over $2.00/gallon for 91 octane when I was in Cali but now it's $1.88 for 94!!!

I'm happy...except for the damn odor....what is it???

I would check your cat if you think the gas is involved...

But honestly, it could just be a freak occurence. I use 94 octane almost every fillup, and I dont smell anything abnormal. Is it extra noticeable at WOT?

Well, I just went for a drive a few hours before I posted this thread, so I wasn't able to tell at WOT. But when I stepped into my car this morning, it just had this odor and I've never had this problem before.

I just can't figure out if it's the new gas or something else. Anyone?

C'mon dude, oldest trick in the book. You put the fabric softener sheets under your seats, because they take away odor, as well as leave a refreshing spring time scent in your car.
