Icon3 G"LS"R High Compression Setup. Need Suggestions on parts combinations

As you can tell by the title im doing a ls vtec build with a gsr block. I need help/suggestions with the parts list if theres anything you guys would change that you think would benefit me or things you would add.( i know theres parts i dont need but im not taking risks) So to start off with i live in Colorado where the elevation is 6,500ft so i know i lm not gonna make 240whp like i would at sea level but i would like to get over 200whp with these parts....

LS Rods
LS Crank
Skunk2 Tuner Stage 2 cams (looking into DDTech)
Skunk2 Alpha High Comp Valves
Skunk2 Alpha Dual Valve Springs & Retainers
Skunk2 Cam Seals
Skunk2 Cam Gears (or Whitfield Cam Gears)
SuperTech Valve Seals & Valve Lock Keepers
YCP 81mm (Type-R) High Comp Pistons (Might go Skunk2 High Comp Pistons for better quality)
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
AEM Fuel Rail & Fuel Pressure Regulator
(NEED HELP ON INJECTOR BRAND & SIZE)
ATI Super Damper Harmonic Balancer
ARP Head Studs
ARP Rod Bolts
Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold
Skunk2 70mm Throttle Body
Yonaka 2.5 Catback
Blackworks 2.5 Testpipe
1320 RMF Style Megaphone Header
Competition Clutch Stage 2 with ITR Flywheel
Hasport Mounts
Hondada s300

and of course ill be getting machine work done like resurface the head & block, port & polish, balace crank & rods & ect....
I was also wondering if anyone knows what type of numbers ill see with this setup and what i can safely rev up to i know theres no need to go passed 9 but still. Thanks in advance

I'll say you'll going to need a bigger bore like 84/85 to make 240 or more.

i know im not going to make 240whp cause of my elevation like i would at sea level and i dont wanna bore out my cylinders i just wanna make atleast over 200whp and also i probably shouldve stated that i live an hour away from the nearest e85 station so i will NOT be going e85

You do NOT need 84 or 85mm sleeves for your intended power level. The standard bore is fine.

Use a 3" exhaust. You could use the idea I've done on some previous builds which is use a 2.5 -> 3" conical transition to go from the header merge to the rest of the exhaust. Works beautifully: https://vibrantperformance.com/catal...oducts_id=1078

Exactly what compression ratio will you get with the YCP pistons and your crank/head combination? I'd strongly recommend a minimum of 11.5:1.

Don't waste your time using the OEM LS rods and bolts in this build. While the motor is apart take the extra time to upgrade the rods to an H beam, and get some ARP2000 rod bolts. Will make it much safer for the higher revs.

The Skunk2 Ultra Street has been proven on boosted setups to produce more power over the entire RPM band than their Pro manifolds. On N/A builds they combo really well with B20vtec setups (displacement) and aggressive camshafts and help flow more air too. Just something to consider.

I'm not super familiar with the RMF Megaphone design but you may want to compare that to the SMSP style header (1320 also makes a great looking replica of this manifold). I'd be willing to wager the SMSP would have more torque up to about 7K RPM and then MAYBE the RMF would overtake it (assuming that's a 4-1 design, I think those are).

^Those are all things I would consider small but effective improvements.

Like ChanceEG said, the Skunk2 Pro is probably overkill for your build. As for injectors, since you're absolutely not going with E85, you don't need anything above 450cc. You could probably get away with less, but there's no real purpose. I would recommend Injector Dynamics 750cc or the RDX injectors, both have excellent spray patterns and would be perfect for what you're going for.

The YCP pistons are basically itr pistons so ive heard it can go from 11.5:1-12.1:5 but theyre around $140 so im not not sure if i wanna risk something happening to the pistons later on and messing a bunch of other things up i might go with the skunk2 alpha series high comp pistons. I didnt really want to do a 3" because i want to go for a nice deep sound with little rasp although i know that the 3" is more free flow but as far as the i take manifold on the Skunk2 website the description says that the ultra series intake manifold is for built, high-horsepower NA setups and i think ill be lucky if i hit 210-220 so i think im going to stick to the pro series specially cause in a month ill be buying the pro series intake manifold & throttle body then itll take me about 2-3 months to buy all these parts or less so i dont think i wanna run the ultra series for that long with bolt ons untuned.

For the LS rods i heard theyre better with the gsr block than the gsr rods and that itll give you more torque if i also use the LS crank and ARP rod bolts are on my parts list. But im gonna see if i can get The rods shot peened

Well, you are probably not going to want to do aftermarket skunk pistons with stock rods (floating vs pressed pins).
If you want it to sound good, use a few, high quality, straight through resonators and end muffler (maybe even a high flow cat). This will have negligible impact on peak power, but a big impact on sound.

Shodan? In an N/A build?

I can't deal with reality right now.
