How do I tell if I have a Honda Civic DOHC or SOHC or CNG engine?

Default How do I tell if I have a Honda Civic DOHC or SOHC or CNG engine?
The block doesn't say DOHC across or on it and it looks like the SOHC in the picture on your site but I'm not sure.

Almost all USDM Civics were SOHC. They have the spark plugs either toward the front or the back of the valve cover. The DOHC has the spark plugs exactly in the center of the valve cover.

CNG = Compressed Natural Gas -- a car that runs on natural gas instead of gasoline. These were very rare.
