Halfshaft question
Ok guys my buddy gave me a 92 da cable trans and I'm going to use it in my swap for now because I just can't afford 600 dollar hydro trans I have a b20b4 I'm putting in my 99 ek my question is what halfshaft do I use and what axles I have a set of 99 gsr axles but I can't figure out which halfshaft that'll work with that trans and will bolt up to my b20 thank u guys so much ahead of time!
You're way better to buy a junk hydro B-series trans with a good case (it really doesn't matter which one, the cases are all the same) and swap the guts out of the cable trans into it (this only works with '92 - '93 cable transmissions) Those conversion kits never work very well.
As far as the intermediate/halfshaft. If you already have the axles buy whatever matches the driver's side axle you have. If you have '99 Integra axles you'll need a '94 - '01 Integra/'99 - '00 Civic Si/'94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec intermediate shaft and matching driver's side axle seal.
It really makes no difference which intermediate shaft you use, all that matters is the driver's side axle, intermediate shaft, and driver's side axle seal all match.
