My car is at a friends shop cause the ac line was damaged near the intake from rubbing, he put a compression fitting on it and charged it. The climate control doesnt do anything he reported, no air or lights on the buttons.

Any ideas why that would be?

 

Uh, maybe try looking behind thd control unit to see if its plugged in?
Did your mechanic friend even do that or just say its broken?

 

I think the panel runs off a fuse under the dash, while the blower motor itself has a relay and fuse under the hood.

Was it working before? Just not cold air when A/C was selected?
