Immediately after a tyre replacement on the front wheels, when 70 km/h was reached a noise appeared that can be heard above the radio.
When checked the wheel nuts required a power bar and pipe to loosen them.
I think the tyre fitter has upset the pinion bearing preload. The wheels were probably tightened with the transmission in park.
How much work is required to check the differential bearings?
