Icon5 Question: 2.5inch Exhaust piping? or 2.75inch to 2.36inch piping for Spoon muffler

Hello, I have a struggle with my exhaust setup.I have a spoon sports N1 tail exhaust which has a 2.36inch diameter and I was wondering if it's okay to use a 2.5-inch or 2.75inch piping all the way to the Spoon N1 exhaust (2.36 inch) .The reason why I ask is that I love the sound it makes.
Engine Setup :
N/A B18C
fully built head with Brian Crower stage 3 cams, the head is also ported
Kinsler 54mm ITB's
Toda Power headers v2
Bottom end is stock

Don't see why not. it's just a muffler and tail section

I thought it would restrict the airflow

sounds like a pretty serious N/A engine. i think it could benefit from a 3 inch

Plus one on going full 3 inch. I do not see the point in such large cams, if you are going to choke the exhaust with a 2.3 inch restriction at the end. If you want to keep exhaust noise in check, you would be far better off having 2 or 3 straight through resonators welded in and maybe even a 3 inch high flow metal cat as well, than restricting the tail pipe.

Yes, I guess you are right guys.Maybe I'll do a 2.75inch piping and use a universal muffler, like (Ktuned-skunk2-kakimoto etc.)
Thanks for your time and your advice guys, you did help me a lot
