to make it related, i'm thinking about buying an out of state car. how does one go about making sure that both buyer and seller gets what they want...

buyer gets his car after he sent seller the money???

How have others approach these types of buy/deals???

I would probably drive/fly to where the car was being sold, and actually inspect the car to see if that is really what you want. Just dont feel comfortable sending that much money, and not actually having seen the product.

 

I don't know about vehicle purchases but, www.escrow.com is a decent website that involves a third party in a transaction.
