So I just got a Honda Civic and first thing I noticed is the dash lights has the battery icon on, the ABS, the SRS, and maintenance required. I hooked up a cheap OBD2 scanner to it the only code it's showing is catalytic converter the car runs and drives decent I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with the battery or alternator and I know for a fact it's never been into a wreck or the airbags have deployed but I do know that about a hundred thousand miles ago it had a new engine installed. Could they have not hooked something up correctly?
my next question is the only thing that seems wrong to me is when you take off the car sounds like a a card in a bicycle spoke when driving slowly.
the car is 5 speed and shift smoothly it does feel like it might need a clutch could that cause that sound?
