I have a 2016 Accord LX. I can open trunk with the lever near driver's seat but trunk won't open with remote key. This is very inconvenient. Does anyone know how to fix it?

 

Probably due to a faulty trunk lid latch release actuator. Open the trunk, then remove a couple of plastic clips to partially open the undercover, and to get access to the wire harness 3P connector to the actuator. Unplug the 3P connector, with a voltmeter, test for voltage on the orange wire when you press the remote transmitter.

If there is voltage when you press the transmitter, the trunk lid latch release actuator is probably faulty and needs replacement.
