I retrieved the error code which was P0455 large leak detected. I replaced the fuel cap with a Honda factory new one. I cleared the code and the warning has not come back on. However, when I scan the vehicle it still shows a "pending error P055". My question is since I am not seeing the message on the car's display, whether the car's computer retains the error for a period of time even after the problem is resolved or, if it means the proble has not been resolved and the error message will come back on shortly
