Default BC Stage 3 NA VS GSC T1 TURBO BILLET CAMS

I have ordered the GSC T1 Turbo Billet Cam, are on back order until possibly early August, however just talked to a tuner today and he recommend the BC Stage 3 NA cams and showed me a few cars making 6 and over 800. My goal is 800, I have turbo tuff pistons and rods, supertech valvetrain, skunk2 ultra manifold w/90 mm throttle body. 2200 injectors, I plan on running low boost 400 and high 800. My question is if I should switch to the BC or stick with the GSC.

Well, GSC makes much superior cams to Brian crower, which has a pretty poor rep. around here. Hell, GSCs are perhaps the best off-the-shelf cams you can buy for a B-series. At the end of the day, however, if you have enough turbo then those Stage 3s could work out for you.

Default GSC T1 Turbo Billet / Skunk2 Tuner Stage 3

Car is darton sleeved, turbo tuff pistons and rods. Supertech valvetrain, 2200 injectors, 6262 2nd gen Precision turbo, Ultra manifold with 90mm throttle body. My hopes are high 9's on the track, hopefully 800 on high boost and I would like 400 on low. Car will be driven around the streets often. Just want to hear opinions on the better cam and why. I know the tuners are a little easier on the valvetrain etc etc and the gsc is the bigger guy but I'm with the gsc however my tuner recommend the tuner Stage 3's because their idle and drivability.

I've heard good things about GSC but have never used them. I did however use Pro 1's and they idled just fine but I would suggest LMA's with those cams.

Tuner 3s are for NA... Not at all for turbocharging. If you want to learn about GSC camshafts and their use over the last 5 years. See below. They'll work fine for what you propose. Although 400whp on a 6262 is rather a waster of effort. A stock Kia Optima will out accelerate you.

I have a set, as well as several others.

Pro1s will make a smoother powerband than the Brian Crowers. I'm going to merge these threads.

Wait for the backorder. Be patient. The GSCs are worth the wait.

*7-15-17*. There was a set just sold for $350 on the FS forums..
