Diagnosis needed: Power drain while in idle: Alternator, Battery, or ELD?
I have a 2006 RSX Type S. If the car idles for more than 10 minutes, the battery light comes on. If I turn the car off...it will not start unless given a charge. New alternator was installed to fix the issue. This did NOT solve the problem. The battery is new. What the factors could be causing the drain on the battery in idle.

OP, does it drain after you charge it while off. Or, does it only drain while running?
Do you have any aftermarket stuff, like a 2000 watt Rockford amp or anything like that? Dash cam?
Basically its the go between for the alternator and PCM. The PCM uses the ELD input to determine how much alternator out put is necessary.
The ELD gets its info from monitoring battery current.
