Default AEM FIC6 Tuning a B18A OBD0 PR4 Code 9

Hi there,

I recently got a FIC6 30-1911 and have been watching all the video about tuning it on the AEM Website.

I'm currently running a B18A on OBD0 with PR4 manual ecu. I made a wire extension so I don't have to cut into my wire harness (and not soldering in the car). After I got everthing wired up and set the base value for running my stock engine, I connected my jumper and hooked up the piggyback. After cracking my engine and got it running, a code 9 (cylinder sensor) came up on my ECU. If I removed the jumper wire and piggyback, the code went away.

Naturally, I assume I messed up on wiring the jumper, but after double checking my wiring and checking my solder (with multimeter), everything checked out. I disconnect my distributor to check the cyn sensor resistance and for 369-375ohms. From what I found that's little low but I think once the car heats up it should be in the 400ohm range.

Is there a setting in the piggyback that could cause this code? If not, I'm stumped...

On a side note: Tuning a narrowband o2 map, I want to create offset AFR and STFT table, but without a way to use a scan tool (I'm running OBD0), how do I find my STFT values?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

A bit messy lol
