I have a question in my 2005 CR-V.
My car has differential problem.
So i want to change rear differential .
My friend give used rear differential to me.
My friend 2001 2.0L CR-V, but my cr-v is 2.4L.
so 2.0 and 2.4 rear differential is same?
that diff can fit my cr-v?

They're two different generations of CR-V so I would say probably not. I know a 2001 has different axles and driveshaft than the 2005 for sure which would lead me to believe they're not compatible. What problems are you having with your differential?

 

my cr-v got some noise 1month ago.
so i visited dealer ship they sad need change rear diff..
so i finding rear diff..

 

If it's just a noise, they probably said to change your rear differential FLUID! Not the whole unit lol

im not sure what fluid yours uses, but try that and see what happens.

 

I've already tried it but not going better...
by the way.
if diff is same year and same model, doesn't matter engine displacement?
I searching on honda parts in the web, they has same part no.
