So I was working on my car today, cleaning the idle air control valve and refilling the coolant reservoir and happened to notice that the engine code is labeled as a "D15B". Curious, I looked up images of the D17 and D15. My engine looks like a D17, but says its a D15, should I be concerned?

 

What model Civic do you have, and where are you located?

 

I got a 2001 Civic LX Coupe. I'm located in the US

 

Odd. The only D15 7th gens that I know of are from foreign markets.

Anyways, I don't believe it's been purchased outside of the country. Was only curious on why I couldn't find this engine on images anywhere.
