ive ben looken into exhaust systems. i want a cat back that is pretty quiet when your driving but when u step on it is really loud and sounds good. ive herd that thermal is like that. if u disagree or have a diferent system that is like this please let me know. thanx

 

Thats is excatly how the Thermal Stealth is. Nice and deep, but you can keep it quiet around cops. The Thermal classic sounds just liek an apexi N1. Hope this helps

 

ive never herd th N 1 but ive herd good things about it. do u notice a diference in performance with the thermal though?

 

I think DC sports would be a nice exhaust for you. Also you might want to look into Greddy EVO. My fav. exhaust would probably be Tanabe Racing Spec though. Although its never really quiet.

I ahve a thermal catback exhaust. OMG i will enver switch to any otehr exhaust again. It was rated the best hp peak gains than any other exhaust for a gsr which ir ad on a website long tiem ago before i bought it. Also teh sound of ti was also what grabbed my attention. It never, ever will sound like a ricer exhausti swear this to u. Always has a steady low tone to it and neverf too loud or too soft but just perfect to where u can drive on teh freeway without getting grey hairs. Also after u break into it for a while it makes popping noises like domestic cars which i think is rally cool liek when i down shift and hold down the gas it goes grrrpopgrrrpoppop but not loud but u can hear it ont he insides, just a really cool experience to hear a domestic sound to a import.

 

I have a Thermal on my Hatch and it's definitely what you're looking for. Nice and quiet for normal driving but loud at WOT! It's not a ricy sound either. I have the Classic system.

Good luck and I bought it from http://www.ptuning.com. I highly recommend them since FEDEX lost the muffler!! The help desk was very helpful in retrieving the package. Oh yeah I ordered on a Tues and it arrived that Sat. Not too bad. Some places are like 2 weeks...

ya ive ben talken to peopleand this one guy really hated thermal and had evo. he really likes his exo and ses that the thermal has no perfprmance advantage. i also talked to some guy about tanabe but he didnt have it he just wanted it. i havent seen it in advertised though. where can i find it? thanx. thank u all for the comments though this really helps

my friend had a thermal for his gen2, IMHO I thought it sounded good but was really loud. I could hear him for blocks.

 

did it help him performance wise thoug/ im gunna take to some guy who has it around here maybe he'll let me hear it.
