I'm selling my beloved 1997 Civic HX that has been my daily driver for the past 4 years. Never broke down once. I love this car but my bad left knee has been telling me lately that I need to get an automatic. It's lowered on Koni Yellow Sports and Ground Control coilover sleeves (340fr/280rr) rides nice and handles good, not harsh or bouncy. Transmission was rebuilt less than 20,000 miles ago. Items replaced within last year or two are: Koni/GC, radiator, starter, 2 motor mounts, new tires last October, new battery 3 weeks ago. Kenwood cd/USB and 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amp. Drives and rides great. Fun on twisty roads.
Now I'll let you know what the car needs, I'm not going to hide it. The timing belt and water pump should be replaced soon, within 6 months. And included with the car is all these parts: timing belt(Contitech) and water pump(NPW), tensioner(NSK), valve cover gasket, spark plugs(OEM NGK), distributor cap and rotor(Honda OEM), all 3 accessory belts(Bando), camshaft seal+crankshaft seal(Ishino), spark plug tube seals. All quality parts. Has a few minor dents, taped up drivers mirror, no major accidents/frame is straight. Clear coat is flaking/peeling. It does have a lot of miles, 285,891 but that's mostly freeway miles. Original owner had a long commute. I still get 43 mpg fwy and 34 city if I drive it easy. Check it out and drive it, you'll see why I'll be sad to see her go.
