Hey all, my sis bought a 93 civic eg hatch and theirs a b16a in it and from wat I know, they converted it from cable to hydro but she dosent know wat clutch to get cuz the one she's looking at is for 99-00 em1, gsr,etc. Is their a difference with a b16a clutch and a b16a2 clutch?

we know, we're waiting for you to put some effort in. is it hydraulic or not? 93 civics were all hydraulic. clutches are for the respective transmission, not the motor. maybe take a picture and upload it. maybe google or use the search function here. maybe try just a little.

 

I thought I stated that the car was converted to hydraulic from cable. So I'm a assuming a 88-91 b16a motor with cable trans was installed but the prev owner converted it to hydro so now my q is, does she buy a clutch kit for the 88-91 b16a or does she get a clutch kit for like a b16a2,b18,etc?

 

says from cable to hydro. i don't read minds. there is no "conversion" involved here, they just put a hydraulic transmission on the motor, or maybe not. the b16a was made until '98. do your homework, find out what you really have, and then you'll know. protip: if its a hydraulic transmission 94-01 integra clutches, 99-00 si, del sol vtec all work.
